Toyota to Stop Using Takata Airbag for Safety Reason

Toyota has decided that the Japanese leading vehicle company will stop using key component from Takata's products. Takata were producing products for vehicles and their airbag for cars had a problem leading many accidents and caused dangers to the user of the vehicle.

In the press conference took place on Thursday, the president of Toyota motor corporation, Akio Toyoda has told reporters about the final decision made by the company.

Due to a failure of safety quality of Takata products, department of transportation in the U.S.A. has imposed a penalty. When the Toyota president was questioned by reporters regarding this matter, he answered "The most important this is to make sure the top priority is the safety so that the products are safe all the user of the vehicles and our customers. Investigations have to be carried out precisely in order to find out the actual cause of the problem as soon as possible. From now on, Toyota will stop using products from Takata products for main components of air bags."

He also added to his comment that "As long as we can make sure that the safety and other requirements quality of products, we are fair and depending on cases, Toyota will consider the use of  the products are made by Takata."

The exact reason for the product's problem still remains unsure. Takata is expressing that there is no problem with the material of the products. However, Speed Highway Traffic Safety Administration of U.S.A has banned the usage of Takata products for vehicles in U.S. Toyota is exporting great numbers of vehicles to U.S. too and had to make the tough decision for Takata as well.

Other vehicle companies are making the decision about using Takata products for their cars and motorbikes. Some have released the decision of not to use products of Takata for the main component and many more are considering to stop ordering from the troublesome company.
