Daddies-Long-Legs Bared Identity: One Daddy to Another

The title might not ring any bell, so let's get right down to the core of the episode. For five years now an "anonymous" party calling him/herself "TigerMask" had kept on sending a dozen of randsels, Dutch for a satchel strapped on the back popular among

Japanese kids, each time about this of the year for donation for the needy. The last delivery about this time last year had a letter to the following effect:

"Congratulations to all, dear children! No matter hard, no matter disappointing, be sure to stand up and fight. A humble package to pep you all up. TigerMask"

Together with the note a memo saying:

"I'm exhausted now. Be kind enough to find another TigerMask."

The recipient gathered then that would be the final gift package to end the 5-year-long goodwill.

Then arrived the above-mentioned package of another dozen of randsel - but this year with a note from another party, with no mention of TigerMask.

The "another party" put in his/her note as follows:

"I've read about TigerMask and his/her goodwill over as long as five years. I'm sending this humble package to show my share of appreciation."

The note was unsigned.

The newspaper writeup the "new" TigerMask had read was written by a female reporter in Okayama and she knew of the additional memo suggesting TigerMask might for some reasons terminate his/her goodwill deed this time. She had hesitated whether to mention about the memo but decided to write a few words about it.

So, the bits and pieces of this episode link in one piece. We are all curious whether this relay of goodwill will go on. The young female reporter feels uneasy whether the new benefactor might feel obligated to keep the relay alive.

Could both benefactors be identical? No way - both notes are in different handwritings.
