Movie "Boruto" Made Biggest Hit in Naruto Series

On August 25, the new movie "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" based on the popular manga "NARUTO" recorded 2.02 billion JPY (16.7 million USD) at the box office after 19 days from its release in Japan. This became the biggest hit in the series exceeding the revenue 2 billion JPY of the previous movie "The Last: Naruto the Movi" released on December 2014. Approximately, 1.56 million audiences enjoyed the movie so far.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie is the 11th series of Naruto's animation movies, forcused on a son of Naruto "Boruto", for which Masashi Kishimoto, the original author, was in charge of the original, the script, and the character design for the first time.
