Japan to Export Education System

Japan is an export-oriented nation and sells and buys stuff and products for survival. Among the major export items are automobiles, auto-parts, iron and steel, semiconductors, electronic components, scientific and optical instruments, etc.

Now, Japan adds to the list a set of know-how in its traditional education system - teaching method to be exact, starting 2016. A bit too vague but plenty of ingenuity behind it.

Japan's educational know-how is popular among developing countries lately and the government plans to export it by way of international contribution. Behind it is the idea of promoting overseas Japan's education industry of textbooks, teaching materials, etc.

The topmost target is to export Japan's unique management of technical colleges for raising technical engineers and technicals schools for cilvil engineering, surveying, car maintenance, etc. It is basically a five-year curriculum geared for educating engineers with sufficient technical know-how to support economic activities of respective developing countries in Asia and the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Japan's basic class-running methods in elementary and middle school levels are drawing global attention: pupils sharing work in cleaning the classroom, the way school lunches are served, raising animals, extra-class club activities, etc. A fixed curriculum is applied uniformly across the country to help enlighten the pupils on how to cooperate, tackle problems and conform to discipline.

It means Japan has more than Toyota and Sushi to offer. Japan is noted for high literacy and efficiency. Now enters education. To survive in fast-changing living environment one needs to be alert and one's knowledge needs to be ready-to-use. That's where vocational education comes in. Japan boasts its high standard in vocational education. Developing nations are hungry for guidelines for improving their living environment and efficient human resources to make that possible - hence the importance in raising the level of education in more substantial levels.

Japan has so much to offer in this area.
