BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK Nominated for MTV EMA Best Japan Act

2015 MTA EMA, which will be held in Milan, Italy on October 25, nominated four groups, BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Sandaime J Soul Brothers and SEKAI NO OWARI, for "Best Japan Act" on WORLD WIDE ACT Award.

The fifth nominator for Best Japan Act will be elected as Wild Card by the vote through social media. The nominees for the vote include the five groups: AK-69, [Alexandros], Crossfaith, Dempagumi.inc and Gesu no Kiwami Otome.

The vote to each artist will go through Twitter with two hashtags, and voting will be open from September 9 at 1:00 am to September 15 at 6:59 am.

Daichi Miura won the 2014 Best Japan Act. BABYMETAL and SEKAI NO OWARI were also elected as 2014 Wild Card nominators.

MTV EMA (Europe Music Award), the Europe version of MTV VMA (Video Music Awards), is the largest music award in Europe which has been held since 1994. 2015 MTA EMA Awards will be broadcast live.

World Wide Act has 10 categories depending on regions and each winner from each category will be finalists for "World Wide Act Award". The winner of World Wide Act will be commended on the EMA stage.
