Police Sergeant get caught by Sneaking into House and Murder to Steal Money

A police sergeant with Saitama Prefectural Police has referred to cash as the reason he trespassed in a home where he is blamed for killing a previous cabbie, a source associated with the examination said. 

"I went into his house with the purpose of stealing cash," said the sergeant, Shota Nakano, 31. The victim, Toshiharu Terao, 58, was discovered death at his home in the Saitama prefectural city of Asaka.

According to the prefectural police officials, Nakano had run together with another officer to Terao's home in October a year ago to lead an after death examination on the body of Terao's father, whose late demise at the time had been delegated suspicious. Nakano was utilized then with the criminal undertakings division of the Asaka Police Station. 

There is no contact between the criminal and the victor since the inspection in October last year.

After Terao's murder, the door of the fireproof safety box in his home was discovered open, with no money inside. His younger sibling told the investigation team that there should be around 1 million yen in cash inside the safety box. Police were searching if the cash were stolen or not.

Nakano has worked for over eight years in examination related department as a Policeman, including the first criminal examination division at the prefectural police home office. 

The Saitama Prefectural Police alluded Nakano to the Saitama District Public Prosecutors' Office on Sept. 13.

Nakano had a family, his wife and two sons and lived together with the grandfather and mother in law as well. "He seemed to have a fairly happy family and I cannot believe he has done something like this" Nakano's neighbor added. Many people cannot believe the fact that
