If you have pets to care, you know how it is: hair falling out, odor, feeding, etc., if you happen to keep them indoors. Japan is often ahead of others in in-between industries and here is one of them. Here are several of them that may come in handy for you.

When you care a pet indoors, you are bound to worry about hair fallen on the sofa and carpet and the odor of excrement. Iris Oyama marketed in June an extra-light stick cleaner along with a PM2.5-compliant air cleaner. The hair cleaner is equipped with a special fabric at the suction nozzle to minimize weakening of sucking power due to animal hair blocking the nozzle. The air cleaner has an exclusive filter to remove animal hair and effectively kill the odor.

Fujitsu General's PLAZION is mounted with a filter that sucks 40% more ammonia odor and lets out low ozone concentration of the deodorant components.

If you have somebody at home to look after your pet, pass this article. But, if you have to leave your pet behind while working out, then this is your must. Chuo System Giken has a communication camera, "Remoca 2", that follows every movement of your pet at home via your smartphone. You can hear them bow wow or mew and you can even talk to them!

Now, how about an auto-feeder to feed your pet when you are out? Yamasa Tokei Keiki has a handy auto-feeder "Wan-Nyan Gourmet CD-600" that feeds your pet on time and right amount. You can record your own "calling voice" like "It's your Mealtime!"

Last but not least, an electric nail polisher you just place on the nails to do the job right. It should come in handy for those who are not yet used to caring pets.

More people keep their pets indoors in Japan: 40.8% dogs and 75.0% cats in a survey done in 2014. Pet-related industries are growing in Japan looking for an increase by 1.5% this year over last year aggregating 414.3 billion yen this year.
