Japanese Famous Actress Naomi Kawashima Passed Away at 54

Japanese famous and popular Actress Naomi Kawashima died on Thursday because of bile duct cancer. She was 54 years of age and originally from Nagoya prefecture. The vigil will be held on October 1 and the funeral on October 2. It is very sure that she will be missed by many of her fans from all over Japan.

She showed sensational performance in many of her works. Her debut was in 1979 with "Honeymoon" as a singer and one of the first ones to became female college student talent. A big hit of love story "Shitsurakuen" is definitely one of her best work in her life. Shitsurakuen means "A Lost Paradise" in Japanese and it was dramatized on TV with Japanese author Junichi Watanabe in the year 1997.

Her popularity encouraged her to be involved in many of Japanese TV variety shows. Her bright and adorable personality made her even popular and she was also known as a wine expert with Japanese sommelier association certification.

Her death at a hospital in Tokyo was announced on Facebook page by acclaimed pastry chef Toshihiko Yoroizuka who married her back in 2009. The actress's husband posted on Facebook "My wife Naomi passed away at 19:55 P.M. today.  She was performing on stages just until one week ago, she lived a full life as actress, wife and person until the very last moment."

It is reported that she was planning a surprise birthday party to her husband Toshihiko even though she was in the bed of hospital being hurt by cancer herself. She has sent text messages to her and her husband's friends "please keep the secret and never let Toshi know about the surprise." Toshihiko read the message she has sent when she was alive and this made him cry.

" Now I can really feel how much I was loved by my wife" the husband of the actress added.
