NTV Beleza Wins Japan Women's Football League

The regular season of Japanese woman's football league, Nadeshiko league has ended and NIPPON TV Beleza became the champion. There were 5 games played on the final week of the league after 18 weeks of the regular league games. 

INAC Kobe Leonessa was on the top of the table before the kick of the final games with NTV Beleza placed second with 1 point between them. However, INAC Kobe Leonessa has drawn the game with 0 - 0 against Urawa Reds. On the other hand, NIPPON TV Beleza has won 6-1 against Speranza Takatsuki Osaka to be on the top of the league table.

Beleza is the champion, Leonessa on the 2nd position, Vegalta Sendai on 3rd place, Jeff placed 4th, 5th was filled with Albirex Niigata and Urawa Reds on the 6th place. These top six clubs will fight each other once in for yearly title called exciting Series from next month. The bottom 4 clubs will play each other twice to fight to stay in the top flight.

All the players of NTV Beleza were waiting on the pitch for the result of another match after their game. When they were told that INAC Kobe Leonessa drawn the game, players started to celebrate the league title. 

Captain Iwashimizu told the reporter "Even though the league title was up to the result of the other game, we never gave up on this title. We were superb from the beginning of the game kept scoring goals to show the difference. We are so happy at this moment to be the champion of Japan, I can feel that the whole team is growing together. We want to win the whole title for this season so we must be well prepared for the coming Exciting Series."

Mizuho Sakaguchi, the opener of the game said, "We could not win the league title for a long time but this year, we managed to win it. We will keep on working hard from tomorrow for the next year's season."

Saori Ariyoshi, who became popular after the Woman's world cup spoken to reporters with a smile "I feel a lot more responsible for myself after the woman's world cup. I am very happy that all work ended up with a great result. We will keep fighting hard."
