Handsome Gorilla Turns 19 years old, Releasing Photo Album

Tuesday the 20th of October was the birthday for the popular and handsome gorilla named Shabani who is at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens located in Nagoya prefecture in Japan.

The gorilla was born in Netherlands and originally brought to this zoo from Australia with a purpose of breeding for increasing the number of gorillas in the zoo. Tangaro zoo is located in Sydney of Australia is where he grew up until he transferred to Japanese zoo.

What makes him so famous is his appearance. He is a really handsome gorilla and many women are attracted to him. This gorilla has even got a photo album of himself. In the album, there are his pictures together with phrases that many worldwide famous people have left.
The Phrase such as "If I wasn't hard, I wouldn't be alive. If I couldn't ever be gentle, I wouldn't deserve to be alive" by Raymond Chandler is one of them. These famous phrases exaggerate the stately look of Shabani as well.

Shabani is a male gorilla and turned 19 years old on this day. He has a family with two children. In human years, he is in his late 30's and unlike most of male gorillas he is a great father and takes good care of his children very well. This is another factor that many women are attracted to him.

A 31 years old woman who visited the zoo to see him on his birthday said to Asahi Shimbun, "He has such a great muscle and I like him. His body is just like rugby players."

Shabani is very popular not only in Japan but also worldwide. His pictures were on twitter with a tag of "too handsome to be a gorilla" and that caused many mass media from around the world to visit him. BBC world, CNN and even AFP communication showed him on TV for being a great looking gorilla.
