The girls band group "SCANDAL" will join to "4th ABU TV Song Festival", a music festival held on October 28 in Turkey, as a representative from Japan.

The event will be held in conjunction with the ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union) General Assembly constituted by Asian broadcasters. Perfume in 2012, May'n in 2013, and SEKAI NO OWARI in 2014 have represented Japan.

Pop artists selected from broadcasters of each Asian country/region including Turkey, a host country of this year, will perform in their mother language. Each country/region can choose only one artist. As a representative from Japan, SCANDAL, which just successfully concluded a world tour covering 9 countries, will join. Including SCANDAL, total 14 artists have been selected for this year so far.

The event will be broadcast live in Turkey and will air in the participating countries as well. In Japan, it will go on air this winter on BS premium, NHK Sogo, and its English version is also scheduled to be on the air on NHK World.
