Police Arrested Man for a series of Arson at Railways in Tokyo

Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department have arrested a 42-year-old Tokyo man for his suspected involvement in one of a series of arson cases that broke out last month along several railway lines in Tokyo.

The police arrested the Izaya Noda who identified himself as a musician on Tuesday.

The arrested man spoken to police officers that he "could not resist JR for consuming massive amounts of electricity," according to the sources. Police have been investigating seven fires at JR facilities in Tokyo since August. The analysis of security camera footage and other pieces of evidence suggest that he was involved in a fire in the compound of an electric substation of the East Japan Railways.

Plastic bottles containing liquid were found at the sites of fires near a rail crossing in Kita-Ku and by rail tracks in Shinagawa-Ku on Aug. 16 as well as at the site of the Aug. 23 fire and one in Meguro-Ku on Aug. 30.

The police have found plastic bottles containing what is believed to be an inflammable liquid at Noda's home. Police investigators are now trying to confirm the details.  Noda has posted some photos of a plastic bottle wrapped with something white.on his Instagram as well.
In the period of 16th of August and 5th of September, there was seven arson occurred at railways. Police suspect Noda for the series of arsons. It is reported that Noda has admitted that he has committed these crimes.  

In the song which Noda has created before, there is a lyric repeating the word " Burn it! burn it! burn it!".  Noda is half Japanese and half Israeli.  His father told the reporter that he cannot believe what he has done. He wants his son to think about it and chose the right path for the future he added.
