Morning Musume '15 to Release First All English-lyric Song "One and Only"

Morning Musume '15 will release the first all English-lyric song "One and Only".

The music producer Tsunku composed the song both lyrics and music. It will be used as an opening theme for NHK's TV program "J-MELO" from October on which Morning Musume is semi-regular.

Mizuki Fukumura, the leader of the Morning Musume, attended the press conference for J-MELO's 10th anniversary on September 17 and said, "I was so surprised to see the lyric, but got excited, too."

Miki Nonaka who spent eight years in the US said in the interview, "My dream is to let people around the world know how cool Morning Musume is and this is one good opportunity."

During the press conference, a message from Tsunku was also read explaining about the image of the song as "a huge space ship sails around the infinite universe." He said, "Morning Musume will work hard to be the "One and Only" for each of you!"

J-MELO is on air at more than 150 countries and regions as "the bridge of music" to be a connection between Japan and the world.
