Japan's Cabinet Reshuffled to Improve Economy as the First Priority
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has announced that he will make the economy as the top priority of the Japanese government to improve. In a press conference held on October 7, he also said "We will start challenging to create a new society where every single Japanese citizen can step forward with hope."
Prime minister Abe has reshuffled cabinet in order to achieve the aims he has set for himself and for the government. He calls the aims as "The three arrows" to improve the living environment for all Japanese citizen. Just for reminder, the first arrow represented the aim of raising Japanese GDP to 600 trillion yen which is roughly around 5 trillion U.S.D. The second target is to increase the birth fertility rate up to 1.8. The last target is to improve the social system and facilities in order to prevent workers leaving their workplace due to reasons such as they have to look after their family. This is because many Japanese have to quit their jobs in order to care the aged family member.
"We have now organised and strengthened the government to achieve the goal of the three arrows. We will be challenging for the future of our country." Abe said confidently.
"Country's economy is the first priority that we must improve. We are the cabinet to challenge for the future of Japan. We will have to retain the population of 100 million people even after 50 years. We will be creating a society where every Japanese can move forward with hope. We will avoid lowering birth rate and increased average age of the population." Prime minister has said.
Abe added that his cabinet will decide the exact action to be taken and it will be carried out before the beginning of the new year.
Press corps asked him what he is willing to achieve within the next 3 years of his work. Then prime minister Abe answered "Improve Security of the foreign affair and aggressive pacifism in order to contribute for the peace and prosperity of the world. We would also like to show the appearance of the constitution needed in this era. Discussion regarding the details of our country will also be carried out to make our country better."
